The joint benefice of St Andrew’s, Alresford and St Mary Magdalen, Thorrington

As church families, our vision is:-

"To draw closer to God and to each other so that we may more ably bring his love to the world."

We want to make a difference in this community for God.

The benefice includes two churches and covers three villages

on the outskirts of Colchester in Essex.

St Andrew’s, in Alresford, is a recently extended modern building.

It is busy with activities for all ages during the week.

St Mary Magdalen serves the villages of Frating and Thorrington in a beautiful 14th century building set on a farm on the outskirts of Thorrington.
